Good stuff, Turbine.
I made the parallel to somebody earlier...in 2002, LSU scored 41 in the first half and Saban pretty much called the dogs off and ran the clock in the 2nd half. They could have easily hung 70 on us. Tonight, LSU obviously ran more in the 2nd half, but they never stopped being aggressive. The 45 that they scored was them pretty much scoring every point they had the ability to score. We moved the ball well at times as well. It was definitely more competitive, at least in terms of from play-to-play as opposed to just looking at the score. After getting over the initial down of the quick 14 point lead for the Tigers, it was a pretty decent game to watch, much better than the 63-3 Texas game last year.
It's going to be a good year, conference in particular. I can't wait for that Houston game though...I get the feeling it's going to be a good one.
