At first I would probably stand in stunned amazement and then yell my heart out. You thought that everyone was at the A&M game, if we beat LSU I believe everyone in Lafayette will say they were at the game lol

Party if you must but I would, unfortunately, be staffing the suicide hotline to prevent mass hari-kari among our State friends...it would be the right thing to do.
Get off of LSU's campus VERY quickly!!! Then celebrate at home. And tape the replay on CoxSports on Sunday!
UL was awash in red today! Dinner out this evening in Lafayette was as well. It is great to see Lafayette support the home team. I lived in Arkansas for awhile, near Jonesborro where Ark. State is located, and thought it strange that many people there supported U of Arkansas, even in J'borro! I thought it a tad disrespectful, not realizing that my next home (Lafayette) would be similar in disposition. Today was different. Maybe some things are changing for the better.
They had that gathering... I wussed out and bailed to Lafayette...Originally Posted by waterboy

rednecks. Yeah we are a lot bigger rednecks than the redneck capital of the state- cajun country. We are the ones that live in the swamps and cant speak English in Baton Rouge( sarcasm)
I also hear that outside of the campus, red wasnt the main color today in Laffy.
Follow the state troppers out of Baton Rouge, because I'm sure it would be like going through hell getting out of there.
Who did you hear that from? I am just curious. I went to the CiCi's Coffee and there was a mass of red hanging out there. I didn't make it to campus though as I don't have class on Fridays. Everyone at the Chamber office wore read. Several friends who work in Lafayette told me it was awesome to see everyone wearing red. I'm sure not every last person in Lafayette wore red as I saw one family... everyone but the little girl not in red lol.Originally Posted by am4titansandlsu
I think this city is doing a fine job as our program rebuilds. We're coming off a winning season behind 10 losing seasons. It'll take time, but we are getting there.
I was thinking about running buck naked in the turning lane of Johnston St. Then I realized that it might be illegal.
I would want to get back to Lafayette as quick as possible, because I think the city would be going crazy.Originally Posted by bigguill
think if we do pull the upset, put a big sign coming in from baton rouge on I-10 with the final score of the game
