The Cajuns got off to a slow start offensively against Division I-A opponents last year. UL scored only 44 points in its first four games against I-A opponents and had only five touchdowns before putting up 36 points in a 39-36 loss at Arkansas State. The rest of the story

On a serious note though, looks like 9 out of the 12 "experts" picked UL to win the Sun Belt. The only other schools were Troy, NT, and Mid. Tennessee who each got picked once. The bowl projections have us playing UTEP in the New Orleans bowl.

As for our SEC foes, it looks as if the Tigers(LSU that is), nor anyone else for that matter, got any love as the Auburn Tigers got picked unanimously to win both the West and the outright SEC championship.

Not trying to start any ____ on here, but I have to agree. Best of luck to you guys this year but I personally just can't see y'all going into both Auburn and Florida and coming back with W's.

2003 was the last time the media picked auburn to win the NC. They endep up with multiple losses. I hope the same result comes this year.

There's no denying it. Auburn will be darnn good this year. The SEC is hands down the best conference top to bottom. JMO!
