I think the Utha Jazz makes zero sense, but it has been there too long. It would take decades for that name to belong to New Orleans again. I still say the Baltimore Colts, but none of my sons do and they are in thier 30's.

Then of course there is the legal issue, you simply cannot take back what you never owned.

New Orelans is famous for many things but the port on the Mississippi River, Mardis Gras,music, and food are what the world thinks of.

It was mentioned on another site and every one agreed that won't be happening for a marketing perspective alone.

Benson will want to be able to sell merchandise for both teams, making them both the Saints negates that from happening. It's the same reason the New "Hornets" won't be Black&gold.

I've heard that one a few times and it's grown on me. I also like Brass and I dont think it'll be a problem to buy the naming rights from a defunct hockey team.
