Im not the most educated baseball fan but how the hell can we hit the ball so well in the first 10-15 games and now it seems as though any cajun with a bat in his hand is slumping .......so frustrating

That might have been the most disgusting UL game I've ever watched. This group has no fire. Someone coaching this team, for whatever reason, hasn't handed the leaders on the team the keys to the game and say, "this is yours to win or lose". You don't "think your way" to batting and running the pads. You have to be on the edge of overshooting on every click. This team looks scared to take the bull by the horns and kill the bull. It's time for Robe and company, regardless of the youth, to take off the training wheels and let these young guys feed like men. They have no fire at the plate or on the pads. Why is that?

So frustrating...sad part is...we haven't been hitting at all and had a chance to win our second conference series in a row. If we could only hit the baseball...if only.

Who knows...this team is just a broken mess. A broken mess who can pitch and field well...but just cannot hit or run it's way out of a wet paper bag.

The last 3 seasons have been brutal. But seems like people fall back to Robe's 2000 season and his overall W's #. Teague rennovation and new coach, why not?

Robe is a great coach but he seems to be playing chess more now than ever. I think more aggressive checkers play at the plate and on the pads needs to be introduced. It's an attitude thing. You can't feel like "the man" when someone makes you feel like "the man" resides in the dugout. I couldn't believe how this team never rallied around base runners today and took this game over at the plate and on the pads. Pitching is another game all to itself. Our pitchers are doing their job.
