Finally, someone got a big hit.

Trailing 4-0, Louisiana rallied for three runs in the sixth inning, and Brian Bowman’s two run single was the deciding hit in the seventh as Louisiana’s Ragin’ Cajuns came back from a 4-0 deficit to defeat FIU 5-4, evening their Sun Belt series at one game apiece.

What's the story on FIU's Sunday guy and what they've got left in the bullpen?

R. J. Fondon, a lefty, is their Sunday guy. He pitched on Friday two years ago and on Saturday last year. He allowed only one earned run in an 8-2 FIU win last season. And, it's well chronicled we've struggled mightily against lefties.

Their closer Gomez should be ready. Pidermann has pitched two days in a row so he's probably not going to pitch.
