I'd like to make the trip to College Station, I'm a UL student as well. If anyone is interested let me know...
I would actually rather go to the Troy game and not the aTm game. So if anybody is interested let me know I would like to make the trip.
Awardmaster is across Johnston St. from Wendy's, down the road from Judice Inn. I'd also like to offer that I'd consider bringin my car and give some rides if I can get some help on gas. (Sad to say that gas is my biggest worry as far as monetary expenses are concerned).
Just curious, how far of a drive is College Station? I know Houston is roughly 4 hours away.
God Bless

It depends on when you are driving. The most direct route that is all freeway is straight through the belly of the beast (downtown Houston). I've done it late in the evening (passing through Houston at 9 p.m.) and it took 4.5 hours. If you're driving when you'll be going through Houston during rush hour, plan on six hours. Typically with the construction that's going on right now (Sulphur to Vinton, Orange to Vidor, Vidor to Beaumont, 10/610 interchange), I'd plan for 5.5 hours.Originally Posted by Sid
When you get to Houston I-10, take the West Loop (610) north. Immediately take US 290 West (follow the Austin signs). After Prairie View, you'll take Texas 6 North. It's about 40 more miles to College Station.
Some might say to take I45 north to Conroe and then Texas 105 to Navasota and then Texas 6 north, but I wouldn't go that way. I45 is being rebuilt from The Woodlands to Conroe and then you'll have to pass through about 20 signals on 105 between Conroe and Montgomery.
You can do either way, but going through UL will assure you sitting with the UL fans.Originally Posted by CajunCherokee

Boca Raton to Miami is a little over an hour. I don't have travel details yet, but I'm sure the team will leave Tuesday. They will either fly into Ft. Lauderdale or West Palm Beach. I think WPB is a little closer. I also need to check but I think the stadium that FAU plays in is in Ft. Lauderdale, which would make more sense to fly into there.Originally Posted by Boomer
