She had two great outings on two consecutive days. Way to go, Ashley!!
This may sound 5 years late but I'm going to say it anyway.
"Ashley, thanks for coming to UL."
I concur with Turbine that we should all be thankful that this young lady chose to be a Ragin Cajun. Although I have never met her, she is one of my favorite all time Cajun student athletes. She is an outstanding student and citizen. You have to be in order to earn the Top Student award she recieved at the end of the fall semester. Add to that being a lovely woman and great athlete. Us mortals pale in comparison to her. I am sure she will continue to lead this team as we get to crunch time.
No doubt when she came out of high school she could go almost to any school, and she liked this university best. Thanks over and over again. Also in the heat of battle, the moment of truth you gotta love her. She has come though against all comers more often than not by a lot.
Back on Feb 9, 2012 I posted "Nothing wrong with wanting the Softball team to reach out and achieve a National Championship. It is within their abilities and we should want them and maybe even expect them to get there."
Wow, little did I know then, this team is on a mission, and looks to have it's mind set on one thing. Geaux Cajuns!
