Just now I sent out an email for all the people in the "Louisiana's Ragin' Cajuns" group on facebook to vote! There are 2600+ people in the group.

For those of you who dont know what facebook is, it's like a professional version of myspace where people are listed by "networks" these networks can be either a university, work, or highschool and you cannot have a profile unless you are involved with one of these. therefore there arent all the "fake" people out causing trouble like you have on myspace. no trash. just real people. anyway, on facebook you can create groups and invite people to be in them, they help to keep a large number of people informed about things without having to individually email each one. there is a ragin cajun group so i sent the link hoping people would take the minute to vote.

besides that subject, one AWESOME thing you may want to know is that facebook lists universitys by their email addresses to make it simple. example:@blahblahblah.edu
therefore schools are listed this way:

Texas
Texas A&M
Ohio State
Vanderbuilt
you get the picture...

anyway, because of this facebook lists UL as, you guessed it:

Louisiana

its great, and let me tell you, the LSUA&M people hate it...

the only thing wrong is that they are listed as LSU

For what it's worth, here are my other votes:

Fight song: Notre Dame Victory March. Period.

Tradition: Texas A&M 12th Man. Real history there, not just some silly slogan.

Logo: Notre Dame. I'm biased, but you gotta' admit, it either causes people to smile or foam at the mouth. Instantly recognizable.

Best Fans: Texas A&M. Just from personal experience, I've never been treated any better as a visiting fan than I have in Aggieland.

Live Mascot: LSU. Like someone else said, lots of folks have bulldogs, cows and horses. I don't think anyone else brings a Tiger out there. Besides, you gotta' be a brave SOB to handle one of those suckers.

Constumed Mascot: Miami. Great combination of goofiness and irrelevance to the nickname.

College Town: College Station, Texas. What the h e l l can I say? I LIVE HERE!!

Rivalry: UT/TAMU. This is what I grew up with. If you're from Texas, you're more likely to get something productive done on Thanksgiving itself rather than the following day.
