Well if they didn't go through UL isn't that out of line?

I actually came by here just to see what you all had to say about the possibility of Hudspeth leaving. I was really surprised that there weren't multiple threads on here about his possible departure already. I started hearing his name thrown out there yesterday. Where have you guys been?

Come on man, its been discussed. Why lose your head over it? There are many others ahead of him in the pecking order, but we know if the money is right and he is picked, he's gone.

By the same token, we trust the guy that got him here, to get someone just as good to replace him.

Coach Jay Johnson Off Coord or Coach Stack Def Coord will take over and we won't miss a beat

I can't keep getting all worked up over HUD possibly leaving every time a coaching position opens up somewhere. I'd love Coach to be here for many years to come...but if it happens, so be it. Scott and T-Joe will replace him.

We're very aware. We're a weathered bunch, and have exhausted our possible Hud absence on an Ole Miss HC vacancy and rumor mills of Mullen leaving Mississippi State. We're still all going to be at Cajun Field keeping the ball rolling with beer in hand. Cheers.

I personally hope he stays around UL for a while. Luckily for you guys, I think the only schoo he'd leave for is Miss St. With that said and with the current coaching situation over there, I don't think it's out of the realm of possibilities for Hudspeth to lead you guys to a top 25 finish and a few bowls wins before he's gone.

Hope you are right and thanks for the well wishes. You guys have got to be excited about your BCS move to the Big East.
