I know Robe wanted to stretch Zimmerman (and it may pay off later) but I think if UL pitches vs Southern with the same mindset as we pitched against LSU (shuttle pitchers) UL wins.

Well he came here from UNO being there Friday night guy and did very good so believe what you want but he was recruited hard by our staff. The guy just can not get his head right.

No he wasn't that great at UNO either, and that's the problem, Tony recruited him hard and lost, since mike transferred here, Tony has been trying to prove himself righ that he can make mike a great pitcher. For example, this Sunday post game. Jay is interviewing Tony and says, looks like you found your Sunday starter. Tony immediately deflects and says well, what it does is allows us to move Jordan to Tuesday and Austin to the pen. What? Dude just pitched a 1 hit complete game for the first solid Sunday start that we have had all year and you are gonna move him to Tuesday? Mike got to "stretch out" on tuesday and lost to southern. If mike would have looked halfway decent he would start on Sunday, he still might.

i think its more of a need for a reliable pen guy and closer, not because austin isnt a good starter. im glad kellog is back
