Most coaching searches tend to be a long and grueling process, but that doesn't appear to have been the case for UL Athletic Director Scott Farmer, who acted fast in securing former Ragin' Cajuns women's basketball coach Errol Rogers' successor.

Ok, we will see TEAM BRODHEAD in action. All the good will built up over decades of quality coaching pays off for him and UL.
If he knocks it out the park we will be kicking ourselves in the butt for waiting so long for Mr. Rogers end, an obvious thing for a couple of years now.
That situation being the case, I think it helped Brodhead to work in the university ranks instead of coming straigth out of high school. He even mentioned he learned a few things about NCAA competition while at McNutt U.
My gut tells me he's gonna hit it out the park!
Can we get the McNeese kids they signed from STM to come to UL???
I hope not. That is just plain bad Karma Boomer. Don't want these young ladies to be viewed like Pancake. Brodhead cannot offer, or talk to these young ladies concerning transfer unless they are released, or fail to show up at McNutt U. They need to make their decsions without any promises, and McNutt U would need to vacate their letters of intent for them to sign this season.
-----I realize all the points but I am thinking that these girls having played for the daughter and the AAU local program would love to be at UL with Daddy B-head------Boyd says they are really good players--so will the girls get a release, red shirt at UL, or just go to the purgatory of Lake Charles!!!!
Are you guys talking about girls already at McNeese or players who are still in HS but signed with McNeese in the early period. If it is girls already at McNeese, it is inappropriate to bring this up with them. If it is girls still in HS, it is still inappropriate to contact them but if they ask for a release from McNeese it may be granted. If not, they could sit out for a year and then join us.
