SLU has made the postseason a couple of times the past few years. Still should beat them though...

I would think he'll stay until his son leaves, and then he'll either retire or take an SEC job.

Maybe we should stop scheduling Southland Conference teams altogether. This year alone, we have lost to SLU (2), Texas State (1), UTSA (1), and fortunately, the NW State game was cancelled. The SWAC seems more our speed these days. We did beat Alcorn State and Southern. Maybe we could go independent in football and join the SWAC in all other sports. That should guarantee us some elusive conference championships. When is the last time UL won a SunBelt championship in baseball or in any sport, for that matter, other than softball? HA!

Wow, a lot of you guys have an inflated value of Robe, he is a very good pitching coach, but where would he go?

He will retire IMO after Austin is done in three years and tigue Moore renovation is complete.

IMO, when the Tigue gets renovated after the last out this year, Robe deserves the chance to recruit with a new gem of a stadium. If the results are the same after 3 years, I wouldn't be opposed to see some change.
