Unfreakingbelievable
Unfreakingbelievable
Top 9 (hold em' Cajuns)
Fisher- SBS Base hit right field.
Rhodes- Austin boots the bunt, everyone safe. First and second no outs.
Rutland- BSB sac bunt, out out first runners move over.
Hebert- BB hit back to austin, caught guy at 3rd in a run down, two outs.
Pace-SSB Double down the line. 2 runs score. That really hurts. Call to the bullpen.
It's the same thing that happened to us against monroe last year at home. Down to one strike and we gave up a double and lost the game. Hopefully we can come back.
Hicks in to pitch. Pop up. Two pitches too late.
2-1 bottom 9, 2 out
Ryan Leonards on 3rd after 2 errors
Strike 3 called on T-Fred......ballgame
I feel ill
Bottom 9
Conrad- SSB pop up
Butler- SSB fly out.
Compton - Hits a loooooong foul ball. Strike one. Ball. Ground ball gets past short. Compton (Leonards pinch run) on with 2 down.
T-Fred-B, Throw back to first gets past and Leonards moves to 3rd. BSS Strike three call. Game over.
Another game that we should have won slips away. The losing streak continues both overall and to SLU. This is frustrating.
Yuck...
Austin pitched a gem but I think he should have been pulled for the last out. I know coach rob always say get an out after an error, Austin did that. That's a tough call. Leave the guy in and let him get his complete game or put in a fresh arm to close it out for us? *Hicks threw 2 pitches and got the 3rd out.*
No, that is Austin's game. Hicks didn't face the same batter and it's not as though he's been untouchable. Plus Aut had just gotten a ground ball right before.
I saw something tonight that's been absent from our ballclubs the past few years....passion! These young guys play hard every pitch and when they get some wins under there belt, they will be dangerous
What a sick way to lose a ballgame. The pitching was great. The decision to keep robe in was fine. The simple fact is that one run is almost never enough to win a ballgame.
Jordan Bourque bunting into a double play may have given me cancer.
