Fortunately for them, if last Saturday is any indication, the Cajuns have a decent chance to get back to New Orleans, or to some other post-season appearance, even though most of the defensive unit has to be rebuilt due to graduation. The spring game ...

Good stuff Dan-Mac!!!!! Very fair assessment!! just thinking back to last year---There was no Qyen who scored early TDs for us or Harris that was Freshman of the year---Also there were about 10-15 guys in total that had never seen the field-----So between June and September there was a lot that happened and also between June and Dec the 17th ----Hope we can get some more great surprises-----BTW when was Kelley moved to LBer?????

Kelley was playing LB in the Spring last year. Let us not forget about some incoming freshmen who, I believe are going to be pretty big contributors their freshmen seasons for this team. I think Lightfoot & the boy form Breaux Bridge will get a chance to play & contribute to this team next year. Also, while no one has shown to be superspectacular as an individual in the LB coprs, the unit as whole looked surprisingly good to me in their run support as well as coverage skills. There are a lot of questions to be answered on defense, but the answers have a better chance of being good as not.
