Lafayette Parish Pre-K & Kindergarten Registration Starts Friday
Registration begins March 30th, 2012 for Kindergarten and 4 year old Pre-K in Lafayette Parish.
For Kindergarten, all elementary schools will be participating from 8:30A.M. to 2:30 P.M. Children must be 5 years old by September 30, 2012 to register for Kindergarten. Must have child's original birth certificate, up-to-date immunization records, social security card and proof of residence (electric, water or gas bill in parent's name). They must also reside in neighborhood zoned school. If you are unsure which school that is you can go to www.lpssonline.com.
Pre-K registration for 4 year olds are at two locations only. Those locations include Vermilion Conference Center from 8:30 A.M. to 2:30 P.M. The number to call is 521-7162 or 521-7163. The Truman Montessori school will hold registration from 8:30 A.M. to 2:30 P.M. For more information, call 521-7810. These children must be 4 years old by september 30th, 2012 to register for Pre-K. Parents must bring child's original birth certificate, up-to-date immunization records, social security card, proof of residence (electric, water or gas bill in parent's name) and parent's proof of income (most recent pay stubs, food stamp printout, SSI, Disability, Etc.)
