My Iowa State Cyclones play Louisiana Monroe tomorrow night. We have a brand new coach and only 4 returning players from last year's team. That's right 4. So it's a pretty new group but hopefully we'll be able to crush the Warhawks or whatever they are now. Are they any good at basketball?

I don't know all the details about what they have back from last year but they are in the second year of their coaching staff. This will be their first year in the Sunbelt so we will learn much more about them from here on out but I think ya'll should handle them. Good luck for the season!!!

The two players that were thought to be eligible at the end of this semester (LaRyan is one of them, i think Damon Forest is the other but I'm not sure) have not and will not qualify in time to play anytime this season. They will not be able to play until next season. I'm not sure which two it was. However, Elijah, whose transcript is being questioned by the NCAA examination committee, is still up for grabs. I haven't heard any more news about the questioning.

The way I have be explained the problem, we forgot to order the duct tape and the flowmaster quadruple flux capsitor and dilithium crystals...

No seriously the company that allowed Ragin Cajuns to use web space, or bandwith was getting so much traffic that it was affecting there business. I wish to pass thank yous to that company, because for many years it saved a lot of money. Basically the extra traffic was affecting there business and they had to reduce and shut down Ragin Cajuns. It's a shame that the previous arrangement could not have stayed in place until the new site was fully operational. The good news is that it was overall intrest in our program that has caused this problem.

Now from what I understand the new site is going to blow us away. There could be audio and video archives, coaches press conferences, hopefully they will carry Ladies Road Basketball, so I can tell FSN to take a flying flip.

I know we won't get squat from the athletic department are the advertiser other than their usual coverups and fluffup about how things have never been better. Anyone know "what's going on"? Uhhhh genius, I'm trying to say this in a round about way as to not stir up the bed of fire ants around here. There are only 4 that have been supposedly declared ineligible and the 5th has not been said or talked about. I'm just asking a few simple questions. Is there a problem with discussing those issues or do they need to be swept under the rug as usual? Just because things haven't been going your way there is no need to come here and show your _____ and start name calling just because you're mad and upset. What's the matter? Did I strike a nerve by mentioning this?
But always remember this...........the next month/year, and the next month/year, and the next month/year, etc., etc., etc., will be sweeeeeeeet for the cajuns.

Im still trying to find out whats going to be swept under the rug BR? Maybe there was a reason the "honorable" Skip Bertman had one hell of a time finding a baseball coach.

You are correct in the guys who are sitting out. It is my understanding that Milsap and Dison may play this year as their situation is still being reviewed by the clearinghouse. Bloom is not ineligible. By NCAA rules, transfers have to sit out one year and that is the situation he is in. Daigle, Forrest, and Gary are definitely out for the year and must do well in school to be eligible next year. We also signed one guy in the early signing period for next year who is highly rated. His name is Gradigno and he is from LaGrange High in the Lake Charles area.
