2012 BB - UL vs LSU

Yeah, I've heard stories, of course, but I don't get to see my Cajuns very often since moving to Texas. I'm thinking of braving it, but just don't relish the idea of being a lone tigah bait in a sea of tigahs.

Made a last minute choice to decide to go to the game later tonight. Does anyone know what the deal is with tickets? Can we just purchase some at the stadium when we get there?

My guess is they'll have tons of tickets at the stadium, all of which will be Standing Room Only. However, once the game starts there are plenty of unfilled seats which you can sit in.

And just FYI, they're $10 at the door.

I sat in the grand stand last year in all red. No problems at all. Will be there again tonight in red.

The baseball crowd is alot different than the football/bandwagon fans.

Interesting quote today from LSU coach in the Advocate:

“LSU gets a lot of the resources, it gets a lot of the publicity, it’s got a beautiful stadium, so the other state schools when they play us it’s a great opportunity for them to kind of make their own statement,” Mainieri said. “Our players understand that. They understand that we have the target on our back. We embrace that. That’s why you come to LSU.”

Just looked at the ticket exchange and they're several good seats available for roughly the same price as SRO. I bought 4 in 121 last night and printed them on online. Sat in this section last year, right next to our bullpen, and had no troubles.
