Tonight’s game between No. 15 LSU (18-6) and Louisiana-Lafayette (13-10) has a little more on the line than the standard midweek game. For the Tigers, the key word is retribution — though they won’t admit to it. The two teams were in a ...
UL dropped a home Sun Belt Conference series 2-1 to Arkansas State last weekend. "» The Cajuns have lost two straight and three of their last four overall, but they've also won four straight midweek games. "» True-freshman RF Dylan Butler has ...
"Night and day games have provided a stark contrast for the Ragin’ Cajuns – UL is 10-1 in night games and only 3-9 in day games."
Hopefully this continues tonight and Friday, and we turn it around starting Saturday.
Made a last minute choice to decide to go to the game later tonight. Does anyone know what the deal is with tickets? Can we just purchase some at the stadium when we get there?
We called yesterday. I think u can buy some through LSU but it's SRO.
Interesting quote today from LSU coach in the Advocate:
“LSU gets a lot of the resources, it gets a lot of the publicity, it’s got a beautiful stadium, so the other state schools when they play us it’s a great opportunity for them to kind of make their own statement,” Mainieri said. “Our players understand that. They understand that we have the target on our back. We embrace that. That’s why you come to LSU.”
I'm pretty sure they have limits even on the standing room only. I would order online ahead of driving there and pick up in will call.
Even when we win this game- it is not that fun to attend. Ill stay on this side of the Basin tonite!
Yeah, I've heard stories, of course, but I don't get to see my Cajuns very often since moving to Texas. I'm thinking of braving it, but just don't relish the idea of being a lone tigah bait in a sea of tigahs.
I would go but I think that I might end up in jail with some of the idiots that go to the kittens games.
