I saw the Williams kid from Abbeville made All State & he averaged about 22 ppg. I'd be satisfied with that. There was talk a while back about him possibly being recruited. Does anyone know his status and if he is even eligible?

The thing I'm saying is if a kid comes in averaging 15 ppg in high school, he probably will not average more than that in college. I'm not trying to be greedy, but one of our main problems last year was we were way too inconsistent from the outside. I'm not saying he has to be a 3 point threat, just be able to hit consistent open jumpers. If we were able to do that last season, we win at least 5 more games, have a chance to advance farther in the conference tournament, and possible do better after the conference tournament.

Rice won another game after they beat us in the CIT game and if we can hit some outside shots, we easily beat Rice. I think Marlin will get some good players, but I'd really like to see us get a consistent outside threat.
