Yea it wasn't a good comparison. Tiras wade Is a much better example. Tyren Johnson also did this for us. But Daigle could stroke it from 3. We don't seem to even have that.

I forgot about AMT, he is working out with the guys... Wronkowski is a like a DENVER player, can shoot, pass, knows the game well, takes chargers, and he has been playing for one of the best HS coaches at STA... he will help out as years go along

That solitary poster doesn't deserve your response. He's got an axe to grind with Marlin.

Tyren Johnson averaged 17.9 points per game as a senior in the 2009-10 season while earning Sun Belt Player of the Year honors despite the Cajuns going 13-17. That's the top scoring average for the program since Tiras Wade put up 20.3 per game in the 2004-05 season when the Cajuns went 20-11.

The Cajuns haven't had two players average at least 17 points in the same year since David Dee (17.4 ppg) and Ross Mouton (17.1 ppg) in the 2006-07 season in which the Cajuns posted a 9-21 record.

Toward the end of the year AMT started to get really close to what I thought he could do---hustle and play defense a lot better using is unreal vertical to rebound and dunk, and started to hit the 3 and the inside jumper----Wasn't there but was getting close!!!!

Marlin will be here through his contract unless he chooses to leave early.

There is tremedous financial pressure on athletics due to state budget reductions, including $1,000,000 recent reduction this fiscal year.

It is unlikely any contracts will be bought out early unless the person coaching is a total disaster, and Marlin is not close to be that, although he seems to be struggling.

We don't need to get rid of Marlin. Marlin just needs to get his assistants to recruit to our obvious needs. He is a good coach but like I said before "we need mo' talent".

We need talent with good attitudes. Sometimes that's not to easy to find in today's basketball environment.

Well said; but that's why he is getting the big bucks. I'm not protecting Marlin but we hired supposedly some great assistants and their job is to recruit. OK, we got Long - good that's one - now what about the guy that brought all that talent to Tech? I thought he was our stud recruiter well start studding!

Since Hud got new contract he thinks he has had more sucess than Coach Hud. The University needs to take a hard look before they resign him. This is not the Southland.

Yes, we were .500 in both his first seasons, but I refuse to go back to the Robert Lee Days. Those days were horrible!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I still say give him a few more years to see if we can have some winning seasons. Hell we did make the Post season this year in the Collegeinsider.com tourney.

Maybe Jessie wasn't so bad hon?

Its been a while since the NCAAs.
