Having been there last night for both games...as well as for most of their home games...makes reading this piece that much better. Good work, Stevie P!

They really are a special group. I've been following this program for the last 30 years and for me last nights first game was the most exciting home game I've attended. We've had other home games that have been exciting in regards to making the WCWS but last nights game was special because of the entertainment. The ebbs and flows, the emotions and the pride in what this program is all about. Redbug admitted that he may have let the rope slip a bit last night, but we as fans should never let go. You can let it slip, but make sure it's only to re-grip.
