2006 Baseball Draft

On a very random note, I'd like to say that a guy from my high school (The Woodlands High School, TX) named Kyle Drabek was the #18 draft pick (strait out of high school) by the Phillies. At the young age of 18 he's headed to the big league.

The Woodlands HS Baseball team finished the season with a #1 national ranking.

He's the son of former major leaguer Doug Drabek. Pretty good genes there.

That's correct. His dad, Doug Drabek, was a cy-young winner who played for the astros. A pretty good private coach to grow up with!
