Rick Jones called Robe:
Jones: Heya Robe this is Rick in the Big Easy. You know I have been thinking about how it looks awful that we keep missing games due to the weather gods.
Robe: Yea, they sure have it in for us.
Jones: Ya know we at Tulane think the world of UL at Lafayette, and want to have a home and home every season, in fact maybe add a week-end series rotating every year in additon to the two week night games.
Robe: Sounds like something we could do. I will get our 2013 schedule to you today so we can work it out.
Jones: The only thing is Robe, we simply cannot let the weather gods cost us a lot of money in Lafayette, you know.
Robe: Yea?
Jones: Well we here you plan on building a new facility and think you should demand an enclosed weather-proofed struture.
Robe: I think that might be a little cost prohibitive, we have the field turf and we should be fine 85% of the time.
Jones: Ok, Ok, I will get back to you about those games, I think SLU wants to play us home and home with that series and you know that might be safer for us, you know about sixty less miles. You see about that fifty million dollar facility and I can almost promise you a forever contract. Ahh, I don't see a date we can come to Lafayette this year, but we got one where you can come here for the 20th straight time.
