If there was something with our facilities holding us back from hosting, I think we would have included that when we rebuilt the stadium. Nothing should prevent us from hosting other than our RPI

I'd bet our facility is at worst top 10 in the country, with no issues with hosting.

If our games against UNC, one of the Tulsa games, and of course Arizona had gone on and we had won then you might see us a couple of notches higher. All we need to do is keep on doing what we have and ther rewards, that being a NATIONAL SEED is what important, not a ranking. Ranking is for the ego, seeding is for optimizing your chances to become national champs.
I just went to the Sun Devil softball site to check out their schedule. Not only is it not stronger than ours, but guess how many games they've played so far at "away" sites. The answer is...less than one.

You guys need to stop getting so upset, and this one is for Z, but we are back in the #1 spot in the mid-major top 25. Geez, get ya'll priorities straight.
To think they had the nerve to bump us to #2 for the two previous weeks.

You sir are correct. Not only have we played better competiton we did it away from home more often, and when pushed by good teams we won and they did not. So they are getting national champion love, and then they will get PAC XII love a little later on. I still say not getting to play Tulsa twice, UNC, and Arizona assuming wins, and that is a guess of course, costed us in the popularity polls.

The Cajuns have a great opportunity this week to get it done once again, and then we will get love in both the popularity polls, and the RPI polls. Right now if the popularity polls were the NCAA bids we would be a national seed, and that is all I am interested in.

Well said. Getting GaTech in this week is critical.

First of all, the renovations at Lamson definitely make it one of the top 10 parks in the Country and, second, lsfoo isn't even ranked anymore so they won't be hosting anything.

didn't lsfoo decide to de-emphasize SB with their recent hire?

Could be. Just look at the top twenty-five to see who has NOT de-emphasized SB. LSU is currently sniffing our dust.

I was checking out Hawaii's schedule. They play all home games until the last month and a half left to the season, then they hit the road for those games. I wonder how they work that out with being away from school for so long.. It sure must be expensive to travel for a month straight. I guess their football schedule is the same mess.
