Myers named Louisville Slugger National Player of the Week

STARKVILLE, Miss. – Junior infielder Nerissa Myers of eighth-ranked Louisiana-Lafayette has been named as the Louisville Slugger Division I National Player of the Week for games played March 12-18.

Myers had a big week for the Ragin' Cajuns, who are off to the best start in program history at 26-0. Over four games last week, Myers was 5-for-10 with 10 RBIs, six runs, two home runs, a walk and a stolen base. For the week, Myers had a .500 batting average, a 1.400 slugging percentage and a .615 on-base percentage.
