Coach Marlin is just the 5th UL coach in 100+ years to improve in year two with a non losing record.

Avoiding a losing record in year two of their coaching tenure has not (historically) been easy for UL coaches. Only 5 have done it AND improved their record over year one.

In UL's first 35 years only T.R. Mobley and E.J Pickell could do it.

Coach Marlin is just the 3rd coach in the modern era to improve his year two record -over his year one record- and post a non losing season. In the last 35 years he joins Jim Hatfield and Bobby Paschal, as the only UL coaches to improve their record in year two and avoid a losing season.

Definitely not saying our team doesn't need a few upgrades, but even with no "pure shooters," we were a few free throws away from being a 20 win team.

I think our team is in good hands with Marlin.
