If the weather is supposed to be terrible and flooding is a concern. Tough decision to put your team on the road in that kind of weather.
Hopefully, we work on a reschedule.

its all west of us and heading north, they would be well in front of the storm on the way home.
It looks like it's moving northeast to where we'll get some rain but nothing like what Houston got.
If they dont want to do it tonight, we're both open in the future:
Wed 4/4 (both have home games that Tues)
Wed 5/2 (would be our only midweek game that week)
Wed 5/9 (would make for a back to back home and home midweek series with the scheduled Tues game in NO on 5/8)
Its canceled according to 1420
The game has been postponed. The coaches are working on a possible makeup date.
We would be approaching two hours as of right now into game time and not a drop of rain. Like someone said above the weather forecasts have been horrible for years. The media is so bored with a dearth of local news that any chance of rain becomes an eminent hurricane or tornado or flood and Channel 7 will beep endless needless warnings.
They heard that the baseball game was cancel so they will have no school tommorow also......I live walking distance to the ball park and it's baseball weather here.........
Just because it isn't raining at the Tigue doesn't make it a bad call. Six plus inches of rain in the Western portion of the state. Lafayette schools closed tomorrow and storms already between here and New Orleans. I was on I-10 earlier today and I don't think putting a bus on the road late tonight would be wise with the winds and potential storms. Unfortunately weather forecasting can't get granular enough to predict specific locations. Its just a baseball game and they are going to attempt to re-schedule.
They're already calling for flash flood warnings in the New Orleans area tomorrow.
