Early Morning Crash Claims the Life of a Delcambre Man

A single vehicle crash on LA Highway 338 near Ranch Road claims the life of a Delcambre man.

The crash happened just after three o'clock Sunday morning when the driver, 25-year-old Kevin Reynolds, failed to negotiate the curve and drove off the right side of the roadway.

Reynolds' vehicle struck a culvert and subsequently overturned. Reynolds, was unrestrained and was ejected from the vehicle, and died as a result of his injuries.

It is unknown if alcohol was a factor in this crash; however, routine toxicology samples were obtained and have been submitted to the Louisiana State Police Crime Lab for analysis.
