NOT closing the season ticket sale on first contact can do nothing but hurt.

I really think a program on the upswing gets more than a few impulse sales and not being able to make sales contact is detrimental.

In my view impulse sales are currently being written off.

UL Football Re: @LSU tickets 15 bucks...

Found out from the ticket office that the $18 tickets are only for UL season ticket holders! Season tickets holders are now available to go and buy more if they wish until Aug 7. Starting on Aug 8th, whatever tickets are remaining will go on sale to the general public for $38 ($36 face value + $2 handline fee)!!!

Any season ticket holders that would like to purchase me some tickets to the LSU game??? PLEASE! I'll pay back of course.

I really would like to sit with the band and all the UL fans and not in the nose bleed like I was 4 years ago! I was on the VERY TOP ROW of the east upper deck, and could barely see the game! It made for a very boring time, esp. since we were doing so bad.

same here, Im a very poor college student. I Would love to buy tickets to the game, but at 40 dollars a pop, I'm grinding my teeth. If any season ticket holders can buy some extras, Ill gladly buy them at $20. I need anywhere from 2-4 tickets. Thanks and GEAUX CAJUNS!

Same here. I need 4 tickets and will gladly pay $25 for each to sit with other UL fans. I know you all say buy season tickets but I work weekends and only get to make about 2 or 3 games a year.

Tickets may be purchased from the Cajun Dome Box Office for I think 18 dollars per individual! Go Cajuns!

I spoke with Shivan at the Box Office on Friday, she said UPC would be handling student tickets and to give them a call this week. Student tickets will cost $25 and will be either in the south endzone or east upper deck.

    Default Ticket question...

Does UL give free admission with an LHSAA coach's card? I've been told LSU does...

Is that coaches card the same or simular in status as the referee's card? If so I do know UL gives free admission to ref's!!

  13. 1st of all I am NOT a fan of using the CajunDome box office and I'm not a fan of this recent breaking news. Besides any 4pm close is a season ticket killer.

  14. 2nd of all $38 for all appears to be a price change/hike policy, (even though I don't think it is)

OK here is the thing I don't understand; If you are going to go out of your way to do the right thing and give each season ticket holder the opportunity for a "single" $25 ticket to the season opener . . . and settle for $7 profit.

Why go for the entire gusto on all the rest? To me selling ALL the tickets is prority-ONE. If $7 profit is not enough how about saying we are going to make what we make for a walkup at a home game plus a dollar.

At the very least, why not give a $2 discount to any extra tickets bought by season ticket holders so that the final price doesn't appear higher than the $36 full ticket price that has been talked about since the start.
