IMO lose ULM, and never bring in LTU. But you have to have a conference. There are only so many candidates and don't forget it appears we will lose at least two.

Why lose NLU i mean ULM???? And who are we losing???
Oh gotcha!! So Tx State and UTSA would be good additions. What about Southern Miss?? Luring them away from Conf USA wouldn't be a good fit??
Yea I know. Was a good thought though. Wouldn't that be a good thing?
Supposedly, the Mountain West/CUSA Alliance will initially include 20 or 22 schools, with the possibility of growing to 24 later. The two conferences have 18 schools presently. They'll eventually add three WAC schools and three Sunbelt schools. I think they'll initially add UNT, FIU, La Tech, and Utah St. Later they'll add San Jose ST and either UTSA, MTSU or Ark ST. We won't get in because there is no way that they'll include three schools from Louisiana. That's the bad news. The good news is that I don't think a conference made up of schools that stretch all the way from the Pacific coast to the Atlantic coast can succeed long term. Once the Big East and the MWC/CUSA Alliance fail, regional conferences will return. Once all the dust settles, we'll land on our feet.
Well I hope we stay right where we are.And the Sun Belt holds on to most of their schools. Cuz I think most of this super conference crap will fall apart
