In another game that helps the Cajuns, Kentucky beat Auburn 8-4 in eight innings. Unfortunately, Mississippi State lost to Tennessee and Northwestern blew a late lead to Nebraska, losing 9-6 when the Wildcats yielded five runs in the bottom of the 7th.

Meanwhile, Cal crushed Stanford in Palo Alto 9-0.

    Alabama edged DePaul 4-3.

    Brian,

I saw a number of teams have helped us out this weekend.

    Kentucky beat Auburn again
Hofstra swept a doubleheader with Georgia State
Boston swept a doubleheader with Binghampton
Tulsa swept a doubleheader Southern Miss
Houston swept a doubleheader with Memphis
    Arizona State beat Arizona again
Louisiana Tech swept a doubleheader with Utah State

and while a few other opponents split I'm guessing our OWP went up

I don't think Stanford is top 10 material, I think Cal is proving that

Yes ... there were a few others that hurt us (Ex. Northwestern), but overall we are seeing improvement here. This is as I expected since teams like Hofstra, Boston, Winthrop, and some others will be getting into the weaker part of their schedule.
