It was 2 sections. I cannot really say anything about their level of intensity. We dont sit down on the first row, I really dont pay attention to what is going on behind us.

We haven't had talent remotely close to the Jessie Evan's years. Until that happens you won't see good crowds, it is flat out boring to go watch a game lately.

I really really really miss seeing Dwayne Mitchell and Brian Hamilton flying to the rim for alley-oop slam dunks! Here is a great video compilation of the '04-'05 season dunks in the dome... GOD I miss thisssss!!!

That video deserves it's own thread. In fact, that video should be shown to our current team and coaches... at the end of it, it shows Dwayne Mitchell slamming it down in the final minute of the Sun Belt Championship to put us into the NCAA Tourny for the second straight season.

Our current roster could learn a few things about where this team once was just a few short years ago. We need excitement back in the dome.

After watching that video, I think I just figured out what the problem has been for UL the last few years. It is obvious that the "old" Cajundome court had much more spring built into it than the "new" court has!!!!!!! HaHaHaHa!!!!

P.S. I also noticed that the baskets must have been a little larger back in the day because apparently more free throws were able to get through the rims!!!!!!!

Finally, a thread worth reading. To solve any problem the first step is to identify and acknowledge the problem. WE NEED MO' TALENT!

How many games have you attended and how many people do you normally bring?

Yes the attendance this season sucked. But so did the product on the court. The average fan( the ones who do not post here) require a winner to be excited about the program. Your not going to get big attendance numbers with a team that can't shoot from outside and can't make free throws to save there life. It's the cold hard truth. To get fans in the dome we need an exciting, winning team.
