Thread: Cajuns move up 10 spots in rankings

  1. Default Cajuns move up 10 spots in rankings

Cajun Netters are up 10 spots in the national rankings to #47 in the rankings, from 57 last week. That was before a 7-0 win today vs Marist. Cajuns will face #72 ranked St Johns on Friday.

Cajuns need to make sure they get the #1 seed in the SBC tourney, the SBC has some really competitive tennis teams, both Denver and USA are also ranked if the Cajuns can avoid playing them until the finals they could guarentee themselves an easier road to the finals.

    Geaux Cajuns.....

I guess I'm a bit naive, but how many Tennis Teams are there total for 47 to be a good ranking?

I believe the number is 350, or somewhere in that neighborhood. #47 is pretty darn good!

There are roughly 350 D-1 tennis teams, to think that this team was not ranked in the top 75 two weeks ago, 47 is huge. The remainder of the schedule reads like this:

    #75 St Johns @ home
    Lamar at home
    centanary at home
    #65 USM on the road
    #63 Tulane on the road

Our only loses have been to top 75 clubs.
