UL Sweeps UNT, Equal Best Start in Program History at 22-0

The UL softball team scored four runs in the fourth inning to break a 3-3 tie as the Cajuns finished off the sweep of North Texas on Sunday, 11-4.

The 22-0 start in '06 was immediately followed by 3 consecutive losses, and 6 losses in the following 7 games. Just as this streak is doing, that streak led up to the Judy Garman tournament. The '06 ladies beat Michigan, then lost to Texas, Washington, and Arizona St. After beating UNLV in a single game, the Cajuns were swept in a 3 game series at Arizona.

Let's hope we take care of business against McNeese this week, and hopefully have a strong showing in California. As impressive as this start has been, we're gonna find out a lot about this team in the very near future. Good luck ladies, and Geaux Cajuns!
