The Ragin' Cajuns football team has proven that they are ready to play, regardless of when and where.
After having their second straight Friday afternoon practice moved up a day - to Thursday afternoon - when the local weather report proved to be less than favorable for the upcoming weekend, the Cajuns went out and turned in another strong practice effort.
"The kids answered the call today to come out and have two really physical practices in a row," Hudspeth said. "I didn't want to take a step back from Tuesday, because we did have a good practice. I think they are really trying right now.
"With our first spring scrimmage coming up on Saturday, I challenged the team to come out today and prepare hard for it. I wanted to make sure that we were solid in executing the things that we have installed so far this spring. I also wanted to use today to sharpen up for the scrimmage and see how they handled have two physical practices in a row," Hudspeth added.
The practice, which took place under threatening skies with a temperature closing in on 80 degrees, was the fifth of 15 allowable under NCAA rules.
