You do realize that you're the reason why things dragged on here like they did, right? No one is trying to call Raymone or JJ bad people, however none of us are naive enough to believe that these guys did nothing wrong. Coaches don't go around suspending players for no reason. You're getting one side of the story and you're blindly following it, like a fool. Take a step back from the situation and ask yourself one question: when, in the history of sports, has a coach just decided to hate a player for no reason whatsoever?

Did Raymone ever consider transferring before the suspension? Yes or No?

This was the right move by Marlin. It shows class on his part, but it also shows the reasons these guys were released were more than likely philosophical in nature. This gives both the players & the coach a clean redo. It can be pretty well assumed now that Coach is handing the near future of the program to his "young point guard".

The questions will remain unanswered until next season, but will be huge. Can Marlin get a cast of complimentary guys to help Payton continue to develop? Can Marlin turn this guy into a team leading player who can make those around him perform at a higher level? Can this team become an exciting, competitive, SBC championship team? One question that can' t be dodged next year is if payton will still be young. By NCAA standards he will be a veteran. It will be crucial for the success of the team & the future of the coach that he play like it.

well since you know EVERYTHING, why dont you tell us? Mone is gone, he wont be hurt anymore by what you say on here. Clue in the clueless folks on here. Tell us exactly how this went down. I want to know the day that marlin walked in the gym and found mone and jj practicing hard, minding their business, doing everything right, helping teammates with their homework and said, you two, you are outta here! I dont have any reason besides the fact that I can, you are gone. I know this is a total injustice and I'm sure you will just take it with a smile and not tell anyone about this injustice. If they were so wronged, why would they not say anything? why would the athletic director agree with the decision? You really think this is some big conspiracy on 2 perfect young men?
