    Dylan Butler did it.

    With his bat.

    And in the outfield.
That unravels the mystery behind UL's 3-1 win over the University of Houston on Tuesday night at M.L. "Tigue" Moore field.

Best home start since 2007. Of course that team started 14-0 at home, so there's a little ways to go before equaling them. We only lost 2 at home all year that season.

Knowing that we were going into this year very young, the only disappointment for me this year so far (other than those pesky errors) is the "relatively" low attendance so far this year. I know last year we averaged over 3K per game, and I'd guess we're about 2K so far this year.

Besides the game last night, the weather hasn't exactly cooperated for the home baseball games. Doesn't look much better for this weekend's series with USM.

    GEAUX UL!
