  1. Default Cockrell and Kellogg's Relief Effort Makes Early Lead Stand

The bat of Dylan Butler provided the runs they would need and 5 2/3 innings of combined scoreless relief from Cord Cockrell and Caleb Kellogg locked up a 3-1 victory over Houston for the Ragin’ Cajuns baseball team Tuesday evening at M.L. “Tigue” Moore Field.

Very solid pitching last night, especially in relief. Great overall defense..and clutch hits.

    Fun game to watch.

The throw by Nicholls was huge, and beat the runner by two steps. A hard hit ground by third, and a laser to the plate where your catcher fields the ball a step up the third base line and waits for the runner to reach him. Went from a probable one run game with a runner at second and one out, to a runner on second with two out and a two run lead.
