Well...hits are 10 to 1. Guess that means we're not that good...at least not right now.

It took 3.1 innings, 10 hits, 6 runs, 1 HR, 1 BB, and 2 SO's for Robe to see that Nicholson wasn't getting it done.......

You're always gonna have a longer leash with your best arm going in the first game of the weekend.

    Got 1 back.

    After 4
    Gonzaga 6
    Cajuns 1

Howell with a solid inning getting the Zags to go down in order.

Sounds like there's a good contingent of Cajun fans.

This is the first time in years that I'm concerned about our staff. I realize these guys are inexperienced but our "best arm" just got worked. Also, their starter is either an all-American or our lineup is just not very potent. Again, young and inexperienced, but 2nd and 3rd, no outs? You gotta get more than 1 run there. Losing Strentz doesn't help either.

It was 1st and 3rd with no out to be fair.

3.2 inn of 1 hit ball for Howell so far. He settled us down but we have to get their starter out of there.

Pair of walks to get it going in the bottom 7th. And Gonzales is now done due to injury. Not how I imagined it, but at least we're into their pen
