The University of Louisiana men's basketball program will have even more of an all-new look next season, with two more signees added to this year's recruiting class Friday.
But one is a familiar face to area high school basketball fans.
Abray Milson, one of the area's top big men during a prep career at St. Thomas More before spending the last three years at two junior colleges, signed a scholarship with the Cajun program this week. The 6-foot-9, 235-pound Milson played at Southern Idaho last season following a redshirt year, and played as a freshman at Utah Valley.
"It feels really good to be coming back home," Milson said. "I'm looking forward to playing in front of my family, my old friends and old fans."
Willie Lago, a six-foot guard from East St. John, isn't quite as familiar to area fans, but he did lead his team to a Top 28 appearance at the Cajundome one year ago. East St. John lost out in the quarterfinals this past year, one step short of the Top 28.
Milson and Lago bring UL's total signing class to nine this season - three in the early period and six in the current signing period that began in early April.
