So far, I see Marlin's greatest downfall is associating with and allowing some of the morons I see here to be involved with this program. He should send em' all packing, lay out a season and start over with people who, along with their family and friends, can read, write and reason....and who understand the meaning of ZERO TOLERENCE and TEAM. Furthermore, anyone he talks to who would EVER consider SOUTHERN should only be someone who would be the teams jock washer.
I dont think anyone that is a Cajun Fan, Real Fan and love the school, has anything against RA, he was a good defensive player for us, but so was Orien Greene, Dwayne Mitchell, Immanuel Washington. If you are suppose to be the leader and PG of the team you cant have too many differences with the HEAD COACH, not gonna work...
First and foremost, dont question my intelligence, everything im typing on here is from my cell phone. Typing on smart phones with huge thumbs sucks,I do have a degree from this wonderful university and one thing i dont want is someone to question my intelligence because of a few gramatical errors, Secondly, i agree with marlin leading this team to be sucessful, i was apart of it last year, i saw the potential in this coach and the program.
Yessir, was a student manager/ student assistant for 4 years, still close to this program today thats why i refuse to point blame like i said before, When marlin came in he couldve have easliy sent me packing but after a meeting with him his first week, he wanted me to stay for my last year because he felt it would be good to have someone who knew the area and the people here, i couldnt refuse, got to be apart of something big last year, i still see positives in which the team is heading
PlayinCajun, do you believe telling people in the community that you are going to transfer at the end of the season is not conduct "detrimental to the team". I think it is as it indicates you do not have the passion required to help move this program forward. Such actions are all about you, not the team.
I agree but if you aren't going to be with the program and team philosophy, then go. J.J. was made a rockstar last year with this staff riding him on that huge win streak. Only his knee and his poor attitude got in the way of copying that effect this year. Only one of those things he can control and master and he chose not to. I will pack his belongings in bubble wrap myself and wish him a prosperous journey.
