Most disappointing loss of the SEASON?? How about in the history of the program?
We want to be the sole "University of Louisiana" and we lose to the other -- who boasts a 2-26 record -- by 18(!!!) at home (!!!). As a former player, I am embarrassed to the maximum. And PLEASE come with your excuse that they shot 70+% in the second half. You play your a*s off and get a dam* hand in someone's face and disrupt their shot.

Payton was a good FT shooter in HS, started the season 7 for 7, and consistently knocks them down in practice. His problem in games is mental now, not physical. He also practices more on his own that anyone else. In fact, he is frequently contacting coaches to let him into the facility at odd hours. His passion to improve is why some believe he will eventually be all conference.

Marlin should have "benched" (at least for part of a game) theme when lack of effort or attitude was first noticed ... which was sometime ago.

JJ has not started in more than a few games. . . With Marlin "starting" is supposedly based on practice effort, but either way it could be called "disciplinary action"

Not a big deal???? put ur feet in the shoes of the players and staff , ur comimg off the most disappointing loss of the season right before the conference tourny,and another distraction , yes this program is goinna be fine because the direction is still positive, i worked under coach lee for 3 years and i worked under coach marlin for a year, so.trust me, tgings like tgis put a damper on the players, me saying i feel bad for the program is just saying i hate this happened, without pointing any fingers are chosing blame because i refuse to , And i never once made it seem like this program.was "shriveling" away, just stating how i feel

One loss doesn't mean anything. Marlin guided this team to a winning season. Saints lost to the Rams. It happens. And learn how to type coherently. It makes you seem unintelligent.
