Outstanding article. This is exactly the same type of character I saw in Bentley last season when I boldly predicted he would be on an NFL roster playing week in & week out when he finished his career at UL. I believe I made that prediction after exactly one session of spring practice. PRACTICE? It's just practice, right? I mean PRACTICE? SPRING PRACTICE at that? I enjoyed being lambasted for that little prognostication which in hindsight turned out to be about 100% correct. I just LOVE making those outrageously wild predictions that just happen to turn out exactly right. Based on that little projection I see this Year's UL squad winning at least ten games & being one of the highest scoring most prolific offenses in the country. Does anyone care to step up & deny. Please use all the sound reasoning necessary. No worries. It's all in fun.

We didn't ALL know he was gonna be a great player. In fact I was pretty soundly criticized about going over the edge on the guy. I was told he was the third best CB on the team. I sure hope the person who made that observation is correct, because the other two guys are still here.
In regards to your Jefferson comments, I did make those before dumm dumm got hisself suspended. Part of the perils of tea leaf reading & opining. Your observations are well thought out, appreciated, & just plain funny. The difference between smart & clever & smart@$$ & jealous.

If you picked Jordan Jefferson as a Heisman candidate... regardless of when or why... you just dismissed six of your best wild guesses that did come true. You get no credit for the Bill Bentley NFL prediction. I'm not sure what other 5 you get docked, but I'm pretty sure you'll remind us soon enough which ones to consider.
