I for one will admit that I would have scoffer at your assessment at Gauthier last year. However, Bill was a fairly known commodity to Cajun fans.

BWK-----What can anybody say except that you are very correct----However just ask VOB and he can tell you that I was 2-3 years and running ahead of you on #17----Now what really has surprised me is his throwing out of the pocket and not the bootleg and waggle that first impressed me!! Also who was the Freshmen linemen that you predicted would be so good???
You Hit on Blaine. Missed on the overall quality of the offensive line. Missed on the running back, though the best wasn't there yet so you get a pass. DL was better than you predicted. Bentley was a fairly well known commodity. Missed Baer.
So your big find was Blaine. Lots of folks on here wanted to see him play more, but you did shout pretty loud about it.
You made some decent observations and some wrong ones. Congrats, but don't quit your day job and call ESPN.
Haters gon' hate
What you fail to realize or at least fail to point out, is that I had no previous knowledge of Bentley from Adam & had no prior knowledge of anyone else's thoughts on his ability. Furthermore, there were those in that thread who felt it was just incumbent upon them to grieve me, that made remarks that did scoff at my remarks about Bentley & his ability. I also noted in that thread that a certain RB would not be on this team much longer. I was again told I was suffering from fever. BTW, I was all high on Mr. Hamilton & I think he will be the best DL in the conference this year.
The only thing I would consider being off a little on would have been the appraisal af the DL. They overall did end up performing much better than I thought they would. The recievers ended up better than I predicted, but that is based on a two way street, like they were much better because they had a much better thrower delivering them the ball than was the starter in Spring camp.
anybody watching the combine??
I am in class, and all they have updated on NFL.com is the forty and the bench press
Josh Robinson of UCF is the first to break into the 4.2s.
I say we replace Tracy Porter with Bentley and Dave Thomas with Green.
Can I get an amen?
I aint too bad on river predictions either. Had to toss that little grenade in there. While I LOVE to stretch my arm out patting myself on the back, the real point that should be made is how good Benltey really is & how much can this guy elevate his level of play? Thanks Turbine for the reminder of what I posted. Now, I'm mad at myself for not absolutely guaranteeing that this guy would be a top draft pick & possibly the first CB to be taken in this draft. I am not surprised at all by what Bentley is doing at the combine. I am upset at myself that I didn't tout him harder, because thinking back on it, it was obvious. I just didn't want to sound like I was going overboard, but this guy was, is & will be all that for any team that drafts him. I would love to see this guy at FS for the Saints.
Bentley's official is 4.43. 5th best among CB's and 17th of all players at the Combine
31.5" vertical. Puts him on the bottom end in that category.
114" broad jump
