I always knew bill was a GREAT player from when I first saw him play
I just wish we would have played more press with him instead of that super soft shell where they play 12 yards back
WOW! I had no idea he had a shot at cracking the first round
They start talking about him at the 1:50 mark

Not trying to act like an expert, bc I'm not at all, but I think he may get dinged a little too much because of his size to be a 1st rounder. His numbers at the combine will be very important in determining where he goes. 2nd round would be fantastic though.
Have we ever had a First Rounder? Ive always believed that Peanut was our highest ever drafted.. Second Round pick 35 overall... Am I wrong about that?
Top Drafted Cajuns:
1995 - Orlando Thomas - 2nd rd, 42 overall
1998 - Anthony Clement - 2nd rd, 36 overall
2003 - Peanut Tillman - 2nd rd, 35 overall
Senior Bowl coverage is on right now on NFL network practice 3 South team, Bill was just shown and talked about
Todd McShay of ESPN said on the video clip that Bentley could possibly slide up into Day 2 of the draft. Day 2 is when rounds 2 and 3 of the draft are conducted. McShay didn't mention anything about his being a possible 1st round pick.
I like the play of Bill and think he is a gamer, but I don't see him having any chance of being a 1st round pick.
.
Talked to both Mike Mayock and Charles Davis about Bentley and Green and they're very high on both players. Davis really, really likes Bentley right now. He's making plays in practice, shutting down receivers in one-and-one and generally looking the part. I think if he can have another good day tomorrow, his draft stock will go through the roof.
The love for Ladarius has been pretty steady all week. NFL scouts I've talked to all love his athleticism and passion. I guess the only doubts they have are blocking, but hell if he ends up being a Jimmy Graham or Marques Colston, it won't matter a lick. Mayock has him ranked as the No. 1 tight end here at the Senior Bowl and No. 4 tight end overall. Looking like a third or fourth round pick right now, but could play himself higher this week.
