Bandwagon was so confident in this team and his individual predictions that he booked a vacation the same date of the New Orleans Bowl. Sad.

FYI, that trip was booked before HUD was even hired. It was booked before Bustle was even fired. I don't even know if the New Orleans Bowl comittee knew which day they were going to have that game when I booked the trip. Are you happy now? You got me all broke up inside.
I found this very interesting as well since they referred to Claiborne as a big, strong and physical corner who is one inch taller than Bentley and 6 pounds heavier which is not significant.
I agree though, Bentley's knock has everything to do with schemes we ran here versus his physical abilities. Most of the pundits have mentioned that he's not a great cover corner which I thought was interesting as I thought he was a very good cover corner but they want to see him play more man over his career to judge and we just didn't run a lot of man here.
I think the size thing is really a knock on his run stopping abilities. If he put the wood to people no one would worry about the 1 inch and 6 pounds.
If he put the wood??
I have seen dwight lay the wood on somebody multiple times
They refer to Claiborne as "physical" because of his prowess as a press-man CB. As for his size, he's only 5'11, but they were saying that he had the longest arms of any of the 60 DBs at the combine, and even though he's 2-3 inches shorter than what would be considered a tall CB, his arm length put his right there with them (when reaching straight up into the air obviously).
I saw CBS' updated "big board", post-combine, and according to their rankings, Bentley is slotted as a late 2nd-early 3rd round choice (#62 overall), and Green was a late 3rd-early 4th rounder (#98 overall). So like I mentioned yesterday, it looks like worst case scenario, we have two guys in the top 4 rounds, and potentially 2 second rounders if someone falls in love with LG. Either way, that's pretty strong, and very good for the program.
Kiper's winners and question marks from the Combine where he lists 8 or 9 guys on offense and defense.
Winners - Defense:
Dwight Bentley, CB: Another late-round guy who moved up, he was quick and fluid in drills and could be a mid-round pick now.

He started 45 games for the Ragin Cajuns, who went 9-4 in 2011. He had seven career interceptions. He comes from a famous high school program in Palm Beach County, Fla. Bentley helped Pahokee High win two state titles in a three-year span.
