It's getting to be old-hat for the University of Louisiana softball team.
For the fourth time this year, UL swept the Sun Belt Conference's weekly honors, with senior outfielder Danyele Gomez named Player of the Week and senior pitcher Ashley Kirchberg named Pitcher of the Week.

Gomez, the nation's leader in home runs, earned the league's weekly honor for the fifth time out of 11 weeks this season and for the ninth time overall, while Kirchberg has been tabbed two other times including teaming with Gomez for weeps on Feb. 21 and April 3.

Gomez set UL single-season records for home runs (24) and total bases (158) during the week and led the Cajuns to a Sun Belt road sweep at North Texas. She hit .455 (5-of-11) with two homers against UNT, and for the week she went 10-of-19 (.526) with six extra-base hits, eight runs scored and eight RBI.
