Well, won't have to worry about Strentz anymore this year. He is having Tommy John surgery next week and will be out for the year. He should be able to get a medical redshirt. So, that's two players gone this year, due to Tommy John surgery, the other being Traffica. He popped the tendon in warmups a week or so ago when throwing a ball from left field to home plate. Looking at the bright side, he'll be back at catcher next year which is his preferred position and will have three years to go with some young promising pitchers.

Coach Robe confirmed the news about Strentz in his news conference today. Tyler Girouard is the backup catcher.

But as long as Sinclair can walk, he'll be in the lineup every day.
