Well I saw him play a long time ago when I was at STM with him. He was really long and lanky back then, but that was 4-5 years ago. That's why I was particularly surprised about the weight. He used to remind me of that alien in Close Encounters of the Third Kind. You know, really long and skinny one?

Anyway, I remember him having a VERY good shooting touch around the basket. Not much on creating his own shot, but if you got the ball to him in a good post position, he was pretty solid from there. As far as rebounding goes, he got a lot of rebounds, but 6'9" guys can get a lot of rebounds in high school without even trying. And he's been 6'9" since he was a freshman in high school. So he could probably stand to get a little more aggressive on the boards.

But like I said, that's just what I remember from 4-5 years ago. Haven't seen him since.

Well with the amount of youth we will have on this team he might have to play an important role next year. But I guess will know more in the next few months after most of the signings have been made.

I don't think I have ever seen this happen in college sports..ever!...a total clean-out of an entire team! Well, if that is indeed the case, I hope all these new players pan out! Hopefully, they'll get to play some summer ball with each other to build up some team chemistry!

Even though we signed all of these guys, I still only see about 8 of them being with the team next year.

We'll keep the top 5-6 freshman, Dees & Cooke, and possibly the two JUCO players. That'll leave some room for Barksdale, Mouton, and either James or Hebert.

We only signed one JUCO player, not two. We may not keep all the freshman, but they will all be there next year. We would not have signed them if we did not want them. We may sign one to three more. I don't know what that means for the players on last year's squad. I do know not as many of them will be back as you think.
